We love this town and decided to develop the holiday cottage so we could share it with you. Originally known as ‘Farriers’, when Buxton had very few holiday lets and we needed it to sound ‘cottagey’, the name ‘5 Church Street’ tells you that the property is located on an historic street – indeed one of the town’s oldest streets. You’ll learn more about Buxton as soon as you step inside the door, as the walls are hung with locally created artworks, some of which we have purchased from artists working ‘en plein air’ for the Buxton Spa Prize . We have a network of local suppliers who offer discounts for our guests, from foodie places to visitor attractions, and our history book tells you how we restored 5 Church Street from old Mr Zoppi’s ice cream van garage!
